Autumn is a season in which we can mostly appreciate some recipes. One of these is certainly the apple pie, to also serve hot, sprinkled with powdered sugar, maybe enjoyed in front of a warm fireplace …
The one I’m suggesting today is a variation: the creamy apple pie.
120 gr of flour
100 gr of butter
250 gr of sugar
500 ml of milk
50 gr of almonds without skin
a packet of yeast
juice of one lemon
Melt the butter in a double boiler, work it with sugar.
Combine eggs, flour and ground almonds and work the mixture, pour the milk and yeast and mix well.
The mixture will be very liquid, do not worry: it is normal to be so.
Peel the apples, sprinkle them with lemon.
Pour the mixture into the baking pan lined with parchment paper, spread the apples in the mixture and bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
The cake is delicious hot or cold, it will also remain creamy the next day (…from personal experience I think that there will ever come a day after …)
